1) If you're prone to burning, apply a higher factor sunscreen first.
2) Reapply every hour and whenever you get in and out of the pool or sea.
3) Change positions frequently for an all over even tan.
4) Choose your tanning time wisely, the sun is strongest at 12pm - 4pm.
5) Prep your skin before going out in the sun, exfoliate as this will avoid your skin from flaking off and apply an aloe vera gel after tanning to keep your skin moisturised .
